Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Rivermark Pine Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Hartford and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 783 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on treatment plant data. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
