Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Harborlight Umber Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Kansas City, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on seasonal crews. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
