Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Providence, RI)

Rivermark Bridge Freight Group is a Providence logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. We reward reliability. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
