Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Portland, OR)

Fernwood Logistics is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 440 people based in Portland. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on student accounts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
