Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Orlando, FL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Birch Freight Group and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
