Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Jackson, MS)

Fernwood West Care Services supports families and individuals in Jackson with personal care and coordination, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on family communication. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
