Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Jackson, MS)

Nova Umber Inspection Services Group is an inspection company in Jackson with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on certifications. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
