Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Indianapolis, IN)

Fernwood Vale Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Indianapolis, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on waiting lists. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with waiting lists. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
