Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Hartford, CT)

Fernwood West Farms is an agricultural business based around Hartford. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
