Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Grand Rapids, MI)

Stonegate Lakeside Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 90 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on collection routes. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
