Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Grand Rapids, MI)

Nova Junction Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Grand Rapids and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing accounts. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
