Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Chicago, IL)

Silverline Willow Community Partners is a Chicago charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer shifts. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
