Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Charlotte, NC)

Fernwood Birch Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Charlotte design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on route schedules. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
