Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Timber Manufacturing and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tooling. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
