Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Wichita, KS)

Fernwood Umber Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Wichita. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We reward reliability. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer tracking. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
