Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind Timber Construction is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on subcontractor invoices. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
