Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (San Jose, CA)

Summit North Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around San Jose. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 193 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on release testing. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with release testing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
