Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Rochester, NY)

Fernwood Nest Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Rochester region. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 562 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on candidate screening. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
