Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Harborlight Vale Housing manages affordable housing communities across Oakland. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 914 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident services. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with resident services. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
