Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Cedar Summit Early Learning Partners is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on classroom supplies. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
