Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Westbrook Summit Construction is a Grand Rapids contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 58 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
