Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Summit River Insurance is an insurance company in Anchorage with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
