Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Cedar Keystone Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Detroit presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on exhibitions. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
