Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Fernwood Quill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Boise working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on survey data. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
