Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Summit Rook Manufacturing makes precision components in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on machine downtime. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
