Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (remote)

Fernwood Mill Arts Center is a cultural organisation in San Diego presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 95 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on event logistics. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
