Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Providence, RI)

Redstone Orchard Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Providence, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 495 people based in Providence. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
