Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Kestrel Property Management is a Oakland property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Maintenance and leasing staff share information every day. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on maintenance requests. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance requests. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
