Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Kansas City, MO)

Ironwood Maple Housing is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for rent assistance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 441 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on rent assistance. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
