Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Kansas City, MO)

Fernwood Loom Insurance is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 62 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
