Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Kansas City, MO)

Amberfield Lakeside Transit Planning is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service alerts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
