Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Kansas City, MO)

Summit Juniper Arts Center is an arts centre in Kansas City with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on exhibitions. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
