Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Jackson, MS)

Ironwood Sable Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Jackson, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on rent assistance. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
