Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Cedar Banking Services Group and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on account openings. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with account openings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
