Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Houston, TX)

Harborlight Learning Group is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Houston. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on school calendars. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
