Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Houston, TX)

Silverline West Arts Center is an arts centre in Houston with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer programmes. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
