Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Cedar Wilder Housing and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident services. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with resident services. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
