Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Grand Rapids, MI)

Cedar Timber Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on supplier deliveries. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
