Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Timber Medical and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 118 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on production lots. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with production lots. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
