Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Grand Rapids, MI)

Highbridge Labs is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 1 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on bindery work. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
