Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Grand Rapids, MI)

Silverline Nest Markets is a Grand Rapids retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a large organisation of about 313 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on store inventory. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with store inventory. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
