Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Silverline Beacon Water Authority Partners and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on capital projects. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
