Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Grand Rapids, MI)

Foxglove Fern Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proof of delivery. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
