Harborlight Meadow Community Partners is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer shifts. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
