Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Corner Markets and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be employee relations. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on store inventory. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
