Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Bright Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on regulatory submissions. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
