Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Des Moines, IA)

Highbridge Oak Inspection Services Group tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Des Moines. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 143 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scheduling. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
