Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Des Moines, IA)

Stonegate Clear Transit Planning Partners helps transport agencies around Des Moines design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would join a small organisation of about 197 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
