Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Vale Community Partners is a Chicago charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on grant reporting. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
