Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Birmingham, AL)

Ironwood Timber Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Birmingham. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on employee relations. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on online orders. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
